You guys ought a be smoking crack to even compare that hideous thing to the MA+ Aviator , the only thing they have in common is a zipper & a hood!

The 3-d hood on the aviators is just perfect and looks good flopping down or worn over your head , the anatomical fit in the body is also something else , snug and tapered down to the waist. Even the fabrics (The heavy cottons) are amazing and add to the structure and rigidity of the piece , pockets or no pockets it is a thing of beauty & yeah who gives a fuck if he does them every season , if I had the money i would buy every iteration...

i'm gonna have to say there is no similarity beyond the chest pockets and the cut is far more simple and boring than the aviator. certainly not better in any way whatsoever.

swami has it right. the structural, anatomical shape, the rigidity and rawness of the fabric, the crazy looking spine. it is remarkably flattering. the aviator is a classic. a signature piece. this OV thing is a lame hoodie.

yeah definitely longer. maybe he is short and has on low rise trousers but i think he could size down too. but for those complaining about the shortness of the aviators consider this your chance.

In retrospection, I regret not handling m.a+ when I visited Darklands. I begin to sympathize with his pieces and I am always fond of the idea of slightly awkward and rigid clothes that become truely yours by being worn in over time. Too bad I didnt try anything on to see wether it suits my tall frame / general aesthetic. But on the other hand, CCP was fucking awesome

The new one is perfect, it's definitely longer than the past couple versions I've tried. Even wearing a size up in the older versions it was insanely short, and I'm not tall.

The one on that guy looks huge though, at least a size bigger than he could be wearing.

dyeing process also adds to the price on these 2 "carbon" pieces as well. (aviator + 5 pockets). same piece with different dye is cheaper.

The prices on the carbon pieces must be due to the fabric and the fabric treatment, the leather pants are only around $200 more than the carbon 5 pocket pants, so it can't be Maurizio just raising the prices ridiculously.
