You'd probably have to de-lace it all the way. And the laces are probably tied extra tight for picture taking purposes. Zippers just wouldn't look right on those boots, imo.

the bottom staple does not budge [as per a more traditional staple boot], but the remaining three un-hinge on one side, allowing the boot to open, and your foot to enter... [pardon the porno vibe].

if you hover your mouse over the main display image, you'll initiate the image zoom, which will also reveal some interesting silver detailing on the left boot's tongue.

I saw that! Very interesting since it is a direct usage of the metal wire digital stitching technique from Sartoria. Matches that which was seen on the jacket that was up on Re-Porter a ways back too!
