You shouldn't be. His proposal for a stimulus package was 25% corporate tax cut rate + making his tax cuts permanent. Food stamps + infrastructure projects + tax rebates + some other things were democratic proposals if I remember right. Only part that appears to pan out as useful is the food stamps (projected $1.73 into economy for $1.00 spent). I am NOT an economist, so this is from reading not my own understanding.
