Can anyone confirm the type of leather used in that jacket on the Archive website? The styling looks much more sleek and the cut much slimmer than the A1923 horse leather jacket I saw for sale recently.

Also, I haven't seen too much in terms of kangaroo leather products. How do the characteristics (such as thickness, texture, stretchability) compare to, say, RO washed lambskin of calf leather, or CCP horse or bison leather?

I must say, Mike's jacket is pretty awesome. I love how the simplicity of the silhouette is offset by the heavy silver zipper and by the texture of the leather.

Kangaroo leather retains more tensile strength than almost all other leathers on a comparable scale. Over all, I like the feel of it better.

On a different note, Shell Cordovan seems to be having breath-ability issues and I'm feeling the heat already. Experts are summoned.
