Damn.. I wish he had put belt loops on those pants. I find it difficult to purchase pants online without belt loops. A little more assurance just in case.

Too bad there was no back pic of the outfit. I'd be curious to see how the pants are supposed to fit according to Simone. The fits on Antonioli and HLorenzo seem to be quite different. I'm not sure if Antonioli's fit either sits much lower on the waist or is generally oversized as it looks much more baggy with a more pronounced drop.

hi guys,
do you remember these from SS11?
so i was wondering what kind of leather all that fibreglass was concealing... so, curiosity got the best of me and I decided to find out.
(I hope this could be of interest to some of you, if not let me know and i'll take my post down. )
2-3 hours of butchering later, this is how they look now...
looks and feels like reversed culatta, but i could be mistaken..
some more pictures to show leather more up close (smooth inside vs rough outer part):

I have the double layered cordovan iteration in black, and as they age the dye and leather come out beautifully. The structure is quite similar to the Linea mircro-lace tall boots.
On yours the fibreglass would have worn away eventually, revealing the leather in certain parts, most particularly the toe box region.

@rooster
wow that was ballsy, tearing up a1923 for fun is an interesting tactic, underneath it looks like you still have a decent shoe that reminds me of the ss12 tall boot in culatta, hope you didnt puncture the leather and just took off the top layer of "fiber" (not sure what that was)
btw i am not a fan of the low heel, i think it needs another cm, maybe add some more vibram
