I'm keen on the jackets as well. Without getting into the debate of whether this is too CDiem or whether it has enough of its own vision, this line has some great shapes. The coats have a slight volga volga touch to them in my opinion, at least in the way that they fall.

1) I did not mean to say it's like CDiem. I only said that the cuts resemble CDiem most. Which makes sense, because the designer worked as a pattern maker for Altieri.
2) I meant it as a good thing!!! I think CDiem jackets cuts were unparalleled, and I am happy we now have something similar.Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde

good morning Faust!
..and to address the prior post as well in a very vague way...The philosophy is in keeping with CD's, but there is an obvious evolution in the concept behind the clothing. This is glaringly apparent if you take a good look at the pieces. Once epiphanous realization is gained you will never lose sight of it again and the comparison kind of washes away. IS is a very cerebral line (as is much of what we love here and I venture to guess the reason we love them too).Originally posted by Faustfuck you, i don't have an attitude problem.

Check out Spring/Summer 10 on Scoute. I was thoroughly impressed - beautiful fabrics and beautiful fit. I tried on plenty of coats and jackets and loved them all. This is definitely the one to watch in my opinion.Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde

I think the leather is the only piece I did not try :-). I think Lowrey tried it on, but I'm not sure. He or Dave should chime in.Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde

I tried the leather, fit me on spot, very nice leather. But not my style. Liked the coats more...
