No explanation that I know of (doesn't mean there isn't one)

The Joy Division collection (Disorder Isolation Incubation) is 1999/2000 though, I believe

thanks collection is a lot funnier that i thought it would be, looks like he's split in two. i have the a hoodie with a fractured music logo on it -- the f with the circle around it.

faust, would you mind posting what you would consider 'best of' from that collection? i want to a friend some pictorial evidence of how strong raf once was and i really think that collection would resonate. thanks

actually you're wrong. its the fractured music logo. fractured music was joy division's publishing company. don't you think i would know something as obvious as factory records? damn, no respect. check out my avatar dude.

400 made in maroon with a later 200 in black. F design was not in fact Factory's F but the Fractured Music logo, Fractured Music being Joy Division's publishing arm.
From an original idea by Durutti Column guitarist Dave Rowbotham who, late one night in Strawberry studios, suggested Factory do a badge "like a prefect's badge, you know, enamel". Dave was later to die in a vicious axe murder that was memorialized in the Happy Mondays song, "Cowboy Dave."
