    Re: Stephan Schneider

I'm normally a 44/46 and the only Schneider item I own, a black asymmetrical jacket with knit collar and sleeve hems, is a size 4. It was the smallest size stocked at Hong Kong's Seibu (the only store to carry his menswear at that time, I think), and it fits me perfectly. So, as others have said, *very* puzzled about his sizing.

Now that I've heard so much conflicting information I'd have to think twice before ordering any of his stuff online.

I see you guys have some problems with his sizing.
It's quite simply. The smallest size is 3 (but it's not
avaiable in every shop, mostly in Japan and in his
shop in Antwerp) , which corresponds to a XS/ 44,
and usually I wear that size (i am around 176cm and
          55kg); have some tops in a size 4 (let's say it's a true
S/ 46) though and they also work on me, especially from the
old collections. The biggest size is a 7 as far as I know.

i'm a pretty regular 48 / M and found SS size 5 to be a good fit, at least for his jackets...

Yes the shirt too. One of the first online photos I've seen that really shows off the beauty of Stephan's fabrics.

Having handled the entire fw10 collection, I have to say the fabrics were some of the best I have ever seen.

The F/W collection does look great! I'm not too keen on S/S 10 though, it all seems too clean. That would be my overall biggest complaint against Schneider, without much innovation in design and cut, if the fabrics are too plain (ie. without the texture available for winter wear) it can be a small step away from A.P.C.

Has anyone handled any pieces of the SS10 collection, yet?
                            Opinions?
I'm thinking about getting a summer jacket.

These are all online shops I found that carry Schneider.
If you know more feel free to post, because they all only seem to carry a very small collection...I'd love to see more pieces.

b-store carry him but they sold out immediatly apart from one t-shirt (which isnt that nice). They gave me a look book with all the names of each piece so if theres anything you want in particular you could ask me for the name of the item and then order it from the boutique in Antwerp.

I have purchased quite a few pieces from the collection, including the suit detailed on Tres Bien (grey wool), which I purchased from Project No 8b (currently at the tailor). You can try their website, but what they detail on the website is very limited compared to what they have in the store:

Opening ceremony also has some scarves which are quite lovely and are not detailed on their website.

With Schnieder, you really need to see in person. Its all in the details, fit and fabric with him.

I know that Park carried the mens collection last winter, and this summer, it looks like only the women's collection is online (not sure if they are still carrying the mens?)
