the wool gabardine wrap/tuck pants with drawstring hems from ss13 have a rather similar silhouette when worn, except without the pleats. could probably give those a try.
Goodness - you can read my mind!Have these on hold after seeing a fit pic. Thinking that the weight of this wool is almost all year round and really like the drape of the cloth.
i've tried them, pretty tempting but the silhouette is too similar to my ss12 ones for me to justify adding these right now... too many things on the wish list
Same situation here! That said - thinking I need this iteration as I missed the ones you have and there doesn't seem to be anything like these in YY for us ladies.
The PH wool workersuit is reminiscent of Yohji first paris collections - which is super tempting.
I want something with drape and the feeling of weightlessness. Have you seen anything else fantastic from the SS13 collection?
i've only seen the first shipment at the london store some time back, apart from the trousers the only other thing i was eyeing which they had in-store was the suit with strings/tassels:
colour palette this season is really beautiful as well.
Yes - colors - especially the blues - uplifting and had the idea that they could be like "wearing" vacation memories while looking+ feeling fantastic and comfortable
just came across this... very cute, and cool did a full kids line ever launch? i've only seen miscellaneous baby stuff here and there in the shops but never this... from Y-3 AW09:
Not exactly about Yohji's work per se, but there is a book out called M to M of M/M (Paris). This is a graphic design agency that has worked on a lot of Yohji's look books and other visuals in the 90s and it's worth taking a look at.
I reviewed it on sz-mag.com and it's in all the bookstores.
The two gentlemen who run the agency were here for the book signing. Here's my copy being signed. I've never seen someone actually write so beautifully! (except maybe the Quay Bros)
