I really liked some of the basics on a recent trip to Japan. For the price, the quality and fit were great. Part-silk tees for less than $100 :) Though it may yet lack the conceptual originality of the big SZ brands, it is a bit more down to earth, somewhat similar to Silent. It's good to know that there are more brands out there in between the baller and the boring stuff. After all, I can't pay $500 for a long sleeve each time. Hopefully they'll get better distribution outside of Japan in the coming seasons.

so, jun hashimoto - formerly of cdiem and wjk - is now the director of the brand N4. obvious (lineage) references to cdiem family... very individual sentiments-y... all these brands are beginning to blur...

Years ago, when Jun Hashimoto was still involved with N4, Carpe Diem was mentioned on the website under Hashimoto's CV. The designer of the label, Koichi Watanabe, has nothing to do with Carpe Diem, hence why you no longer won't find a mention of it on the site. This is why it was mentioned in this thread as well. so I wouldn't go as far as saying that the label was at any point riding on Carpe Diem fame.

thats the exact one i got. seems like i got the last piece both in sumi and subtle sumi.

considering what LeU, IS and Devoa retails, price is pretty decent of course that is subject to quality check upon arrival.

was just browsing through old images and came across N4 aw09 Inside Outside collection... seems like that season really captured a vibe that wasn't there in previous nor latter seasons... if i'm correct, that was jun's post-wjk season when he helped out on the brand... the designs, styling, etc are well controlled and executed...
