my size 42 tall back zips are about 35cm in height not including the heel. the model number of the mens low heel tall back zips is 989, the womens high heel model is 789.

Has anyone seen a pair of off-white/bone coloured ankle boots this season? or is my only hope to ever get a pair only through custom order.

^ I believe I saw a pair of off-white ankle boots at Lift, but I have no idea what sizes they've got, and come to think of it, I can't quite remember if it was a pair back or side zips. But note that it's not from the new season though.

IIRC, I believe ma+ has an off white ankle boot this season. Check the ma+ thread back several months when the spring summer stuff first started appearing in stores.

^the Archive is getting the dirty khaki in a side-zip -- not the crimson boot pictured. And that crimson boot is different than the boot Dunaj is interested in.

so that listing is for the side zip boot (pictured red) in the color of the lace up ankle boot next to it (pictured khaki)? so they won't be getting that lace up ankle boot?

Continuation from the discussion in recent purchases.

I was looking at getting the donkey backzips from darklands and was first suggested getting a 45 after mentioning I normally wear 43. After giving my measurements of the outsoles of my other size 43 shoes, 30cm, I was then suggested to go true to size and get the Guidi backzips in 43. The justification is that the outsole for the 43 backzips is 30.5cm however I am worried that I won't be able to fit them. Various reasons I think I should size up against the affliate's recommendation:

1. General forum concensus of sizing up on Guidis.
2. Stiffer leather (donkey) gives way less to stretching.
3. Better a little big, than too small.

So what do you guys think?

I just measured the outsole on both my donkey guidis 42 and cdiem 40 and they are both 11.5". i would say go with the initial recommendation - others please chime in and help this man make the right decision.

I second what E said, the backzips I owned had the same outsole length as my other boots and you're better off with them a tad snug as the leather will stretch but it won't shrink.

I am a true size 42 in almost every shoe/boot. I found the 43 Donkey back zip to fit snug and there would be no way I could wear a 42 in Guidi. Others have said to size up two sizes, but I like the Donkey back zip snug. Hope this helps.
