as much as i love that bag, i honestly cannot picture mr. moo pulling it off with his usual American biz-cas attire. it's... too much of a statement piece in his wardrobe...
Rare, hard to find GB2 bag from GUIDI. This is their iconic 1 piece bag (when you unzip it fully, you can see it is one piece of leather for the main compartment). 2 leather pocket inside. Lampo zips. Good luck finding another like this.
$1200. PayPal/shipping extra.
Thanks for the photos Faust. It's awesome Guidi does these types of events for their products. It brings a level of interaction not utilized by many other brands out there and shows that they truly believe in what they're selling.
thank u beardown for the superb graphic which so expertly captured my feelings toward this thread as of late.
thank u faust for the cool photos. i think downtown is a great affiliate. i am going to use all the resources i can summon from their styling shots to convince my wife to finally let me dress her in a sick guidi boot.
dying and coming back gives you considerable perspective

I was just in there with my lady friend but she was similarly not feeling the guidis. Personally I don't think they're that far of a cry from the two different augustas i've got her rocking...
Only tried them on briefly so my experience is limited, but you definitely feel the extra height and weight (more so than most other creepers and thick soled shoes I've tried). However, if you don't mind clomping around at the beginning I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be comfortable.
I'm curious if anyone here has a sense of who does the in-house designing at Guidi? They are quite a few steps beyond the amazing material providers who are dabbling in the creation world.
Hopefully others will come in with more info, but I understand that Maurizio Altieri designed the last that is used for some of the footwear - I think the shape of the backzips was his work.
