thanks a million Bro,
it is a really beautiful piece and it fits you well,
the pictures of the inner construction shows that the designer knows how to make clothes and it using some of the best interfacings, and paddings around.
More than seeing this though Christian, I really admire your commitment to promoting and supporting the work of smaller independent designers.......................the lifeblood of the fashion industry!“You know,” he says, with a resilient smile, “it is a hard world for poets.”

She's certainly a class act. We should also note that for made to measure orders, Adeline does not re-use the same pattern for different clients. While she has created a number of these J-pants, the pattern and cut of each pair is unique. Speaking of which, I'm going to wear mine tonight!let us raise a toast to ancient cotton, rotten voile, gloomy silk, slick carf, decayed goat, inflamed ram, sooty nelton, stifling silk, lazy sheep, bone-dry broad & skinny baffalo.

Some pics of Adeline's last special order : a pair of wide pants in linen.
Initial indications for the silhouette : high rise, wide at the thigh, narrowing and bunching at the ankle
The kind of things I'd never thought of : the outer seam departs from the vertical rear pocket and turn around to reach the back of the ankle and join the inner seam in a V.
Adeline's interpretation of the traditional fishtail :
Partially lined with fabric taken from the pattern, as usual. Adeline's way to make the piece unique.

Yes, I think so too. I come to find the more martial silhouettes too caricatural and finally boring, compared with the nonchalance of the one you're referring to. Approximation and clumsiness are a lot more entertaining.I can see a hat, I can see a cat,
I can see a man with a baseball bat.
