Not at all, since the crotch widht is well designed and that the fabric stretches out as I already stated.

With regards to the appropriation of the design, I wouldn't call this copying. The way that the construction of clothing has evolved over the course of fashion history has been through the successful application and adoption of new ideas. Curved seams belong to no one and are merely a tool in a pattern makers tool kit. Drop crotch pants do not belong to anyone, and asymmetrical design does not belong to anyone. The pants are similar, to be sure, but the goal for each seems to be totally different, and the design signatures (which are what really constitute most of design these days anyway) are unique. These pants do not strive to be the CCP pants, so they aren't a copy.
      +1.

IMHO the CCP pants are a failed design, that another designer would have a take on drop crotch and asymmetry and succeed should tell you something. Note that I had multiple discussion on drop crotches (not limited to CCP) w. Christian (and BSR) so you also have to factor in his imput. Design solves the (small) problems of contemporary living and these pants are a perfect example of a designer offering a custom solution to solve Christian's dramatic drop-crotch problem. In my mind that makes them quite superior to a random pair of pants by a *********** designer.

About Adeline's work ethic: She made me a (really nice) pair of custom pants awhile ago. She wasn't satisfied with the end result and entirely re-cut them to get exactly what we had discussed and what she had in mind. BTW there is a certain community of spirit between what she made for me and Christian; she does traditional tailoring gone terribly wrong (or right :) ) not a transfer of conceptual art precepts to clothesmaking (what CCP does).
Selling CCP, Harnden, Raf, Rick etc.

Last pair of pants from Adeline.

I wanted something very ample (once again) to match the flared cut of some of the jackets and coats I have. Something reminiscent of the traditional french carpenter pants, that we call the demi-ballon ("half balloon") : very wide at the thighs, then reaching the hem in a narrowing curve.

The result was suppose to give a very classic feel, and I'd say it's a success.

The fabric is the same that Adeline uses for the breeches pants from her capsule collection.

        Thanks again !

^ black wide pants...those look great on you MM. I love how the lines of the pant flow when viewed from front, back and side.

Has anyone received their anamnesis pieces? Would like to see pictures as well as how they fit/feeling of fabrics and such. I'm awaiting mine (and I can't wait) so, I'll definitely post up some pictures when they arrive. Thanks!

Custom made "architectural" pants in cotton gabardine with two vertical and two diagonal seams creating triangles at the front and back. The crotch is slightly dropped, hems are unfinished.

Those pants are really quite awesome. Some of the favorite I've seen. I love the cleanness of the design.
