fantastic chin, thanks. imho, none of these looks scream period costume at me, proof that PH can be styled for a modern context

That first womans coat/jacket in the prior post is really something .... Faust, did you mean this one?
What's the fabric composition?
I guess something long-sleeved underneath wouldn't look too good, I like the shortened arms.

I could be mistaken but I believe that effect is achieved by boiling and it changes the material permanently so it will retain that shape and effect. Kind of like a controlled destruction of the garment.Originally posted by mizzarSorry for being kind of a dick to you.

While they might not retain the exact same shape with repeated wear (think months, not days), the jackets can be washed to re-shape them again. I washed my thick wool jacket in cold water and after using a towel to soak out most of the water, twisted/scrunched it to my liking and let it dry - good as new.let us raise a toast to ancient cotton, rotten voile, gloomy silk, slick carf, decayed goat, inflamed ram, sooty nelton, stifling silk, lazy sheep, bone-dry broad & skinny baffalo.

2) Heavy Wool charcoal with stripes in size medium
3) Textured Brown Fine pinstrip in size medium
