The PH furniture has actually been around for quite a while....i have seen sofas and armchairs covered in his cloth....also this chair has been available in a euopean boutique for quite a while....I saw the prints for the method of manufacture....i can't remeber off the top of my head, but there is something very special in the way it is manufactured....will try and hunt it down

Eur3900......i think only 36 chairs were made....The story goes that PH found an original 18th century copy of a windsor chair (a very crude design) in the countryside.....PH believes that this copy was made by a basket weaver in the 18th century from an original that he may have seen in the city of London....Ph has used the basket weavers method of construction for his model....there are no grooves or nails....very raw finish etc etc......
