are you sure thats PH or just a woman wearing a very old coat?
I'm not being sarcastic, i'm honestly not sure.
She does look really nice though.
this is why it's hard to drop close to $2500 on his clothing. not to mention that there's a company called rogue's gallery (or something to that effect) that they sell at odin that knocks him off with materials that are equally as good for like 80% of the ph asking price.
nice John. Can't wait to see pics. The S/S 09 pieces I saw at l'eclaireur were cut small and had really short sleeves. Like they were made specifically for the japanese market. Did you find the same to be true of what you saw at Harvey's?
Armand Hadid said Harnden was cut intentionally a little small and short. The trousers to be worn not quite at full length to show a little ankle with shoes worn sockless. I guess it's either oversized or short. Not sure if this season's specifically for the Japanese market, though that wouldn't surprise me if that were the case, since so much of Harnden's pieces end up in Japan.
that's my problem with recent ph pieces as well. the thom browne proportions have held me back from purchasing several pieces. it's intentional from what i was told but i can't get past it...
Yea, it is intentional but it also does run small. I tried on a dual layer silk jacket and an XL pretty much fit me (while the sleeves were still short, although I attribute part of that to my wing span). Didn't try on the trousers though. Stuff was nice and seemed somewhat reasonable for Harnden.
"because the young are whores. dealers come to carol to get the rock"
the cut's definitely changed, most obviously in the length of his signature blazers which i believe are now four button instead of six. works well for me, I'm not complaining!
