PARIS — Hussein Chalayan’s fragrance, Airborne, will be introduced starting July 21 at London’s Dover Street Market.
The unisex fragrance is meant to be the olfactive representation of the designer’s journeys from Cyprus to London. Airborne was also the name of Chalayan’s fall-winter 2007 collection.
Produced by Comme des Garçons, its juice includes notes of Tunisian neroli, lemon from Syracuse, bergamot, lentiscus from Cyprus, juniper berry, incense, musk and cedarwood.
The rollout of Airborne will continue through the month of July.
A 50-ml. eau de toilette spray is to retail for $95.
