18) Rick Owens: Side Zip Boots. Remember these? I'm sure the veterans of the board do. IMHO, these are the best combat inspired boots Rick (or anyone else for that matter) has ever produced. I had a couple pair which I had intended to rotate to minimize wear on the crepe sole. Wore them once and they managed to get buried in a closet. The split leather used to form the folding tongue is very soft and anchored in a manner that will not cause any stitch dig into the instep. Soft crepe sole makes walking extremely comfortable and the toe box is gorgeous.
Size: 42 (Runs small. Best suited for size 41 - small side of 42.)
Price: SOLD
Prices dropped to ridiculousness. Some of these items will be temporary at this price (which is way below showroom wholesale), as I will most likely just keep it if it doesn't find a good loving home.
Cheers!
Please read the opening post before messaging me enquiries.
I am more than fair in all respects (i.e. pricing, turn time, communications, post-sale issues, etc.etc.etc.). There are countless here that can attest to that. I understand there are many noobs here and I want all to know that I am happy to work with you, but please read the opening post and respect those wishes. That said...
I do not want any more messages from people crying about items they missed out on. Sorry, but the last message I received really wore my patience thin. If an m.a+ aviator is being sold for less than the price of an m.a+ t-shirt and I provided you with measurements despite what the opening post requests, than it is up to you to make a decision in a timely manner. Pieces are sold on a first come, first serve basis for people who appreciate the pieces for what they are and realize the prices are far below wholesale (let alone retail). If someone makes up their mind to take it before you do, it is not my responsibility to cater to you because you missed out on the item. Please understand there are others on this forum and exponentially more that browse the classifieds. I happily hold pieces for those expressing true interest in purchasing and will continue to do so. I exercise every courtesy and consideration, so please don't blame me for not doing so due to your lack of action and resulting regret.
Had to get that off my chest. Thanks all for allowing me to rant. Cheers!
