i like it. in a weird way i feel stronger about this than any other winter collection i've seen from rick. at least on first glance.
re: the art/fashion thing discussed above. fashion strikes me as much more vital and artlike than art these days and vice versa.LOVE THE SHIRST... HOW much?

it's not like cropped jackets haven't been an recurring feature in earlier collections - both men's and women's, it's just that here the high waist is the big thing and naturally the styling of the first looks serves to accentuate that. but for sure these pants are cut to also be worn lower.
there's something very neat and snug about the presentation - everything is pulled up and tucked or pulled to the side and fastened on pegs (pant fronts, coats, boot strap detailing, jacket-'scarves', waists...), which reminds me of the 'control-collapse' dichotomy rick digs so much.

I liked the high-waist pants, but almost everything else was just strange for me - especially towards the end. Those puffer jackets were serious wtf to me.
