lovely proportions. I think the look is really nice, but I would never buy any of the pieces. I like the blocking in this silhouette, nice empire waist :)

the shape of this coat is quite nice
I like how some coats emphasize the waist and figure, while others morph the torso into a cylinder which plays nicely with the skinny (whether bare legs or clothed) or carrot bottoms
I wish comme would use less print blocking, its become such an expected part of their vocabulary and seems like a too literal tie together

Love CDGH+ outerwear. I agree that these are some of the best fits and love the styling. I am also impressed at the vast array of jacket materials and how seamlessly they work together as a collection.

Love this, nothing much else to say. #6 and #9 are the shit! Echoing others that the outerwear was very strong in this collection.

CdG, YY, Julius...Japanese coming out strong in Paris for 2012!

thank you for the video! the models-dolls walked like zombies.
long jkts with a slightly flair skirt look like sort of a costum and it's really nice.

yes, nice but very costumey. CDG H+ never used to be (so) costumey.

yes Johnny and i also find that the fabric embelishment (in some chanel-like jkts) is also something unusual for comme. actually the polka dots and lace motifs seem to be "embroidered" or "3d printed" as well.

Yes, it certainly is - but as a show I really don't mind. I actually like those androgynous teenage freaks dressed like their grandmother at her own funeral. It makes cross-dressing look like something disturbing and transgressive, which it initially is, after all.

yes MM I was kind of transfixed when watching the video. a lovely little piece of theatre. then i started thinking more mundane things like that I used to want to wear HP clothes rather than just watch them in a show

Some pieces look indeed very wearable - some coats, some gray jackets in the middle of the show, or the short jacket/long shirt combination. I also like some of the shoes, even if I have concerns regarding the way they would work outside of that context.

But well, yes - some of them.

Plenty of this is wearable for the stereotypical CdG customer. The fabrics are lovely, I must say. For the rest of us there are a ton of fantastically cut boiled polyester classics and very nice knits.

                                There isn't much that I wouldn't wear...I just wouldn't wear it all together...with a Tina Turner wig...and Jack Sparrow's hat.

I think much of the theatricality of this is in the presentation and styling, not the actual pieces themselves. And as long as boiled polyester is in the line, I'll always be a fan. Plus I can't wait to see John Waters picks out.
