AW13/14 Collection Prediction Thread

In a couple of weeks, a number of us armchair critics will move swiftly to accuse our beloved designers of unoriginality, copying, repetition or fan base killing new directions.

Pretty easily done after the event.

But who can call it now?

I predict Ann will return to high boots, poet flounce. Digging the archives in an effort to generate cash-flow.

Boris will go deeper into absorbing classic denim jacket cuts into his aesthetic. Blue is the colour.... Everything points towards a coronation.

Junya will finally drop the jethro chic, and give us boys some of the sports collection the girls got for Summer.

Hedi will be a mild disappointment, indistinguishable from KVA.

And Sruli will make a penis coat.

eternal told me they are having an installation... he hasn't seen any of it so let's keep our fingers crossed... too bad though, it really can't be worse than ss13 for any of them though..rick/julius/bbs there's just no way, one of them will come thru.

yep, they will have no runway, only presentation, but I hope for best. These teasers of headpieces/hats and super-elongated jacket's sleeves that Horikawa and crew shared last weeks are really promising

not totally wrong. more priest than poet. and certainly more commercial. 3 out of 10 for the mystic fish.

feel guilty calling this a prediction. it was a racing certainty. points lost on the KVA call. 5 out of 10 for the finned one.

oh boy! so close to the jackpot on the most audacious prediction. Buffalo Bill has fuck all on Sruli. for God's sake, son, use a dead animal when you make the penis coat. 0 out of 10.



So what has been learned about the prediction game?

26% rated accuracy is about monkey dartboard territory.

and, it certainly doesn't pay to be too specific.
