Hi. I like your necklace. - It's actually a rape whistle, but the whistle part fell off.

Can't catch a vibe, It's such a mess: yeti, anime, punk, sci-fi... Let's take a look at the 2 previous seasons: "Mountain"' was about 30's and vintage ski wear with a retro-cosmonaut twist at the end, "Island" - tribe/jungle feel from start to finish. The concept is readable, that's what i mean. But this? Just a bunch of ideas that makes a big "wtf" impression when compiled together. There are some good pieces indeed (a lot of reworked "Limo" stuff tbh), but the collection's flow seems to be completely out of the damn focus.

island was art nouveau bro, and that pulls from the renaissance and classical antiquity. it was more apparent in the women's, with armored sandals and those cuirasses, but the men's had togae and cothornus clogs worn by tragic actors in grecian theater
plinth's dus remind me of alpine soldiers from ww2 and before. more greatcoats and fur than modern insulates and with big ski boots

Not a fan of this at all, just seems to be a mish mash of various elements from previous recent collections with some silly novelty items thrown in. Really dislike the belted stuff that was all over AW10.
Rick walks out at the end in leather jacket and sneakers as per usual, which is what most stores will be buying, again.

same shit!
i was thinking the other day that island's camo reminded me of the older style of snow camo, which was my favorite growing up, but the variegated print from this season is even closer.
this is some sort of new digital snow camo, but there's an older style closer to rick's prints that i can't seem to find.
somewhere around my mom's house is a picture of me, age 7, in tiny little fatigues and a high and tight haircut.
found this marshland camo with a similar feel
