Do I dare to look?! [79] ...
This has frightening prospects, not just for his own collection,
but for what to come at Dior Homme ...Are you afraid of women, Doctor?
Of course.

Although, the washing machine thing is dumb (the models take their clothes off and put them in the machines and then walk the runway in boxers at the end), and that above look makes me cringe, as Faust said there's some decent stuff going on in this collection. I'll figure out how to post pics and maybe put some up later.

LOL! That laugh rose from the pit of my belly too. Hope I didn't wake the neighbors. haha
BTW, that laugh turned sour on me real quick. I think the only thing that made the image bearable was coupling of the question posed over it.

People used to call KvA "Dior Homme - for man who eat".Now it's "for man who reek".
let us raise a toast to ancient cotton, rotten voile, gloomy silk, slick carf, decayed goat, inflamed ram, sooty nelton, stifling silk, lazy sheep, bone-dry broad & skinny baffalo.

Re: Kris van Assche - FW08-09 Paris
despite the unintentional humor found throughout this collection, it feels like KVA's most genuine effort since his debut for his own label...there's nothing remarkable about the styling or design, but it's the path i always pictured KVA as progressing towards when i first saw his debut...making easy pieces that reflect his own tastes and don't require too much thought, kind of like a more stylish and youthful Theory. He seems to have taken a lot of detours exploring different themes and none of them worked, the same thing i get from his two seasons at Dior, he seems to be struggling to find his voice.
As i mentioned, his own personal style isn't that bad and based on what he said about this collection, it seems to be the inspiration for it. Probably why it doesn't feel as forced as when he is trying to make some kind of statement like the latin themed collection he did a while back or his latest b-grade vampire movie fest at Dior.
