Some of it's quite nice, but I was genuinely shocked at the prices! Never mind the $10K leather jacket, butwhy are the tees so expensive?! Faust are you suggesting thst the euro equivalent prices in Europe will be much cheaper?

On mad pricing, remember the astrakan Lanvin coat from AW08?

Will be £13,000 from Browns.....

I think so, Johnny. I think given everything, they will be about 30% cheaper in Europe, if not more. The VB black shirt I brought from Antwerp cost 190EUR (that is before the VAT deduction). That's a decent price for a very well made shirt. I will go and look in IF, but I'd venture to say it's around $330 there. If EUR and $ were 1 to 1, we'd be looking at very different prices. That is NOT to say that all this stuff is not very expensive.

lvr buy is up, nothing really new or interesting..

looking forward to seeing the knits and vests in store

super dropped saggy ass pants looked tempting on the aloharag pdf but they look a bit ridiculous when shown in more detail

also, on the runway it looked like she did a new sneaker, but from what it looks like.. it's just the same one from before with a few modifications

Checked out the aloharag and LVR buy.

The pieces with the square/pleated lapel/collar details look good. Not that taken by the rest.

Yet the prices are enough to turn me off from seriously considering them...

Been wondering this for awhile. I handled Ann's fall/winter outerwear from last year, and it was all very
light weight. I was worried that it not be warm for Canadian winters.
However, last year, I think she used a ramie, wool, cotton mix in her outerwear. This year, she seems to be using a wool, cotton, hemp blend in her outerwear. Anybody with a textile background can enlighten me as to what the benefits are of using a hemp mix fabric? I did read somewhere on this forum that the hemp has the hand-feel of linen. Does it have the same properties as linen then? If so, wouldn't linen be a little cold for winter?

I have heard of bamboo being anti-bacterial etc. Does hemp help retain shape, insulate, stronger etc?

I think there is plenty of info on the benefits of hemp on the net - I once red something, but forgot. Hey, worse comes to worst, you can always chop it up and try to smoke it! [<:o)]
