I'd say Julius doing Julius but styling it like Rick Owens (those caps, the scandinavian looking models, more leather hiding the drape)

A very cheap shot. I believe that pilots have been were wearing similiar headgear even before Mr. Owens came along with his styling tips.
Plus the fact that the skull-caps are more Roman Centurian ; which was part of the concept
Which you didn't know
And I am not about to elaborate : )

I described a look and made a valid comparison to anotherone, yours or the designer's opinion is only worth as much as howthey can substantiate it; after all the author has been dead for more than 40 years. If you want to elaborate please do, I'm interested in what you may bring to the discussion.

Which author " has been dead for more than 40 years" ??!!
showing it in paris does not mean tackle the europen market for its first time. europen stores has carried julius officially for several past seasons. though, of course, showing it in paris is a very big statement for the new local buyers.
im a big fan of julius but they do need to step up a level soon to show some creativity.

One store carried Julius
I am not sure why you think they "need to step up a level soon to show some creativity."
Who is making these demands ?
Is it just your personal opinion ?
What is wrong with just following one's own personal vision and not giving a damn about "needing to step up a level" ?
