i too often come into seeing a damir show with the hopes of seeing a glimmer of the old damir; shame that was not the case this year. bland and forgettable, mostly. not outright terrible, but the epitome of banality.

i hate the palette and fabrics, and i'm a layman when it comes to technical issues like cutting and construction and also basing my opinion on photographs, BUT i have to say it looks like there is some brilliant tailoring in this collection. very interesting silhouettes/volumes here, in my opinion. he's obviously still clinging to this fantasy of his where armani is king and men actually wear this stuff - and i think that is commercial suicide - but i have to say i think this collection is the most interesting one i've seen from him in years. i won't wear it though....

Bunch of slightly formalized loungewear and Chico's grandma sweater textures wrapped around admittedly dope tailoring. Pass on that one.
