Damn, not sure if this is a nod to the 50's or 60's, but I like it! I like it a lot! Reminds me of my uncle in the 50's.

I loved this, too (sans those 50s shirts). In my other life I'd be wearing Lanvin and Dries.

Just the sheer design prowess from Ossendrijver, Albez and their team leaves me in awe each time, from the colors to the cuts to the proportions to the fabrics.

I'd missed this. It is the best I've seen of the looser, lighter fit.

Strides look good, even with the high rise.

Rounded shoulder works with the narrow cut.

I don't know... also I do like some pieces, and have no doubt about Ossendrijver's talent, Lanvin gets boring. It's like Acne is doing an oversized/unconstructed luxury line.

DVN is more creative and Haider Ackermann more mature and glamorous, I really wonder who's the target audience for Lanvin these days.

They've said in the past what they're doing is for young guys, especially those that don't wear suits on the daily. They're kinda vague about it like everyone else, but from what they put out, their menswear can be for anyone really. They've got a little bit of something for everyone. The relaxed/raglan sleeve overcoats are what I look for every season. I don't think any brand does it as well as they do.

IMO, the shows never do the garments justice. From the way it's all styled and presented, you really have to see individual pieces up close. I'd say the same about Haider and Dries, but less so than Lanvin.
