by the way, i may be the only person to think so, but i really like the toad sausage boots. i wish there was a way to overdye them black whilst preserving the toad sausage motif.
I like those "moldy leopard" boots too, but I could never pull off the look. Looks like something to wear with an old Stetson hat and long hair for some reason...
Anyway, really digging the concrete colored long coat pictured above, reminds me of a grail I've had my eye on for a while.
After I have finished watching an amazing love at first sight porn scene, the sight of porn disgusts me and I never want to see it again....Until I get that feeling of course
Now back on topic. Love the waistcoat very much. The coat is beautiful but I could never pull that off. Since seeing more and more Damir work, I am liking it so much more as well. Although, I doubt I will be seeing much in person anytime soon.

also very fond of the vest above. i really like some of damir's work, but it seems his penchant for oversized cuts on everything makes it impossible for me to own any of his clothes.
Chant, does damir have something against small people? I imagine the japanese are pretty pissed since his 44 fits pretty much like a 46....
Maybe a good news soon for small people. I just need to have it confirmed. I'll tell asap.
I have always liked damirs work, and have handled a few pieces and own a few.
I must say that his fabric choices are always impeccable, and always convey his vision, and always work perfectly with the cut of his garments.
What i would give to have a rummage through some of those fabrics for my own work!
I cannot wait to see what the ss10 collection will be like.
merz: your look has all the grace of george michael at the tail end of a coke binge.
this does look very nice except the sleeves. why o why that pointy cuff over and over?
1°) Looks nice IRL.
2°) If the cuffs were regular ones, then they would not echo the cut of the tails. I dunno why Damir did this, but if he hadn't, the shape of the jacket would have been less consistent.
CQFD.
One of my favourite piece, quite simple but very elegant : asymetrical hooded cardigan, with short front/long back. Unfortunately, pictures don't do it justice.

I knew we should not have gotten you that Le Corbusier book. "Right angle is superior to all other angles, bla, bla, bla"
Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde
I have to agree here with Chant..the "asymetric" cut of the sleeves matches the whole construction perfectly. Even if the overal idea would not be matching, it looks just cool on the sleeves.
But i prefer Boris roughness anyway...
Enviormental freaks, move away! My scarf will travel around the world and back!
No, CCP goes first...not a fan of Augusta, although they are way more comfy...in regard to comfiness my new MAs are unbeatable. From the first day of wear no problems...my CCPs still hurt me somethimes...
