I understand that nearly three years ago the rick owens thread was created to as a place for 'all things rick owens', but the forum was smaller then and it seems ludicrous now to attempt to discuss both his clothing and his cultural impact at the same time.

This thread has been left unused for several months and I think it's time someone picks it up, dusts it off, and puts it to a proper use while the 'all things rick owens' thread is being used to discuss some little blonde boy who has inadvertently become the focus of a very heated debate about what he was wearing one day, irl. I will admit I have been drinking, much like hobo was when he said what could have been the final word on that shit, but since it's still going on I'll just make my post here.

SO, would anyone want to talk about the new wallets? There are two (possibly three now) available at the NYC store. The larger of two has a lanyard and a bunch of shit stuck to it (though it can be removed and worn separately as a lanyard with a bunch of shit stuck to it) and the smaller one, which is fairly classic, is more of a bill fold but has a very nice texture and very simple design. For some reason there is no item shot of the second wallet, but I would say it's the stronger of the two since the first one is far too busy to be taken seriously as a men's accessory . I thought both were made of black toad skin but I guess the larger one is calf. Neither includes a cock ring, but I figure I could always make one out of a few rubber bands and some clippings from the barber shop.

I can't really remember, I think the larger zip wallet was priced around 700 something and the toad skin billfold was around 300? Don't quote me on that though, I'm pretty confident on the $700 but the second I'm not so sure about... It was enough that after being told how much they were I left the store, walked over to A, and bought an M.A+ wallet instead.


Also ^ I'm surprised I haven't seen it anywhere. It is pretty sweet.

No it is not. LVR's one has a hood, and the collars differ too. You're a bit severe, among other things leather jackets are fine, better than FW08 (with the high collar exception), skirt/dropcrotch is great, and the boiled wool blazer that I saw at the RO store looked beautiful. But I am afraid for the coats as you are.
