I recently found this forum and this is well my first post.
I bought the blistered lamb mollino at the RO New York store about a month ago. The picture in the previous post must be with the zippers unzipped because the sleeves aren't wide like that.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to wear it out yet due to the warm weather here in Stockholm. The jacket is nothing short of amazing though, it really is. I'm sure anyone thinking of buying it will be more than satisfied.
A tip for those ordering it online or such. The difference between size M and L is quite small. I tried both of them on and could wear both without problems. I did choose the L however as it makes it possible for me to layer stuff underneath. I'm usually an EU 50/US 40 in Dior Homme and such.
I could actually almost get away with an XL in that cut. (Thanks Chicago people for being crazy huge) Who says RO has poor size consistency? M, L, XL all the same size!
Looking for CCP Rain in 50, IS/MA+ loose trousers (IS S/S10!!)
I like the look of the blistered scuba a lot, but has anyone handled it in store? How is the feel to it? Is this thick blistered lamb? Looks like it in the pictures. It looks kinda cheap, but is it due to the lightening? At least that´s what I´m thinking.
I have this jacket in smooth lambskin from F/W 08'.It is a great piece and can be worn several different ways. The collar stays high and tight. And the front pockets have snaps. Not velcro.
Someone ever cut a Rick Owens tee? Just got one off the interwebs for mad cheap. It's one from S/S05 (all other tags been cut out), think its the cotton version since there is no fray's but a rolled edge.
It's like 90cm's long and I would like to make it a bit shorter. Can I just cut it? Or will this ruin my shirt?
And should I wash the shirt first, to be sure there is no stretching of the garment?

I've shortened one of my basic rick tees, one of the non-ribbed, sheer ones and the alteration didn't have any unwanted consequences.
But as I take from your post your tee is made of thick cotton and the raw hems resulting of the cutting could be a problem. Could you post pictures of the actual tee?
thanks for your reply. sorry for posting in the wrong topic, but i thought this was the main rick owens discussion topic.
here's two pictures of the t-shirt.
i once bought some cotton fabric, wich was a lot thicker than this, that also resulted in rolled hems whenever i cut it. not sure if this is the same, but sheer.
it might be the same one as you are talking about, basic non ribbed sheer t-shirt.
