Me too... On the last pics Damien posted, the red seemed brighter than I hoped it would be.
I was more into the dark-blood-red.
Well, I won't get neither of them anyway but IMO the Julius leathers are way more interesting than the repetitive RO stuff (feel free to flame now).
Yeah that's why I still have not pulled the trigger on it. In some pics, a la runway, item picture the red looks darker/ moodier but some of the more recent pics, it looks like a flamboyant red. Way too bright for what I imagined, and unless I see someone else cop and take multiple pics (flash/ no flash/ day/ light/ morning/ brunch/ dinner/ supper) then I'm not sure I will take the gamble...

if you're a male hustler, the red rider is the way to go home.
One wonders where it will end, when everything has become gay.
I'd take those webstore shots with a grain a salt if I were you guys as in the past charcoal has been more of a brown/olive colour, as can be seen from the runway shots:
last seasons they used lamb leather as well, however this season it is a:
- slightly rigid washed leather like last season
- deeper black than last seasons brownish black
- thicker leather than last season
I think they went back from vegetable tanned leather to mineral tanned this season, hence the darker blacks and new red colour.
to be honest that rider isn't really a stand out Julius design imo as it's just a minimal perfecto jacket (they just removed the epaulettes, collar buttons and belt) in a nice washed leather, much prefer their jut necks, moto collars and fencing jackets. I think the red goes perfectly with the simplified rider design though, far better than it looks on the jut neck. I don't imagine the red will become a regular part of future Julius collections...
