I think Julius 09AW is totally nothing New to his previous collection / designs. No new style , no new cutting / design. quite normal.

What an aggressive presentation. Definitely loving the direction Julius is going in. The thing that drew me to Julius initially was the variety shown in pieces, despite the use of much color variance. The new use of red kinda knocked me on my ass. My first instinct was to resent it a bit, but the pieces so dangerous that I couldn't help but change my mind as I saw more. Totally in love.

I'm actually not seeing too much glove action in this collection, it looks like mostly sleeves that cover the wrist to me. Don't get me wrong, it looks fantastic, especially peeking out if the leather jackets, but I haven't seen anything yet to match the FW 2008 gloves (which I'm going apeshit trying to find...)

There are beautiful new gloves made from lamb skin. As something to keep you warm, they are perhaps a bit more functional than the fingerless ones.

Without a doubt more functional, but then I have a pair of giant thermal gloves (a must for Minnesota living) that are doubtless warmer than both pair combined, but they look like complete shit XD Which isn't to say that the lamb skin ones aren't overwhelmingly sexy.

For my money, though, I'll stand by the fw 2008s, because functional or not, nothing quite says "Badass" like a pair of leather gloves.
