i'm really enjoying uc these days, things have come a long way from when i first viewed the label, Jun seems to be getting stronger. Less But Better is not really an exception. Still very much connected to streetwear, which i like.. Can't wait to see the bags..
this is great and classic Jun
I thought I'd post some Dieter Rams designed products so the concept comes through better. You could see resemblance in the colors, the leather straps, the minimal details, and of course the utilitarian materials.

I never updated this, but I actually visited the Undercover store in Taipei, Taiwan. Incredible store, it's actually a noodleshop/smoothiebar/ clothing store. Jun apparently paired up with the top noodlehouse in taipei, and created a hybrid restaurant/ boutique. I took a bunch of pictures, found here:
The menu was the most interesting part: each drink was formulated according to the theme of a collection he had. They were utterly delicious as well. A must stop for any undercover fans.
not impressed... seems like jun's running out of steam and residing in gimmicks to carry on... the same fate with so many japanese designers that had too much press and attention too early ending up not being able to keep up... once a great fan of u_c, only to be dissapointed season by season...
Excellent video here, not so much the Q&A part, but showing the inspiration behind the collection and how Jun transferred industrial design elements and concepts into the clothes.
