    MARTYN BAL AW09

He was Hedi's first apprentice at Dior Homme and then ex Director of Menswear at Burberry Prorsum until he started his own line.

Martyn Bal really explores the blueprints of his previous roles but his AW09 collection plays on proportion and volume in a interesting way...
I thought you may like to see them....

Sure is Shawn (good to see you on here BTW)

Dude is mis/respelling his name like crazy here just to make it edgier a la T(h)om Brown(e)

Mr B(j)al(l) seems to create decent stuff but he just can't quite get over that hump of actually making it away from the old Dior Homme umbrella.

The black waxen curse of the Dior Hommebrella.

Looks very nice, somewhat plain, but classic. Something you would expect from an ex Dior/Burburry man.

            Ha!
I like that... Well i guess someone has to pick up where Hedi Left off... As Dior Homme does'nt seem to interest me anymore anyway...

I have heard a few uk "peeps in the know" talk of Martyn Bal as a one to watch so time will tell i guess. I would certainly like to see his product in the flesh.

Thanks for the comments... i am new here and i am enjoying your posts.

The boots don't look that great, and I can't see much in the other pictures. Whose ideas was it to have thumbnails that can't be clicked?

exactly. very bad website design actually. from "Credits" shows this website was built by a studio focus on making just motion graphics.
