holy shit if i hadnt seen the title was lanvin id never have thought it was just lookin at these pix . i rly like this alot /writes list for preorder

also seems like new/different models , im not seein some of the familiar faces ive seen with lanvin for past few yrs

dissecting this there are alot of really beautiful pieces, but as a whole, not very focused, which i like when it is.

Well, this looks like a very unusual Lanvin collection. I can still sense Lanvin, but clearly going in a new direction. Maybe a more SZ-friendly direction.

There is a lot of slanting shoulders, sloppy fits. I think some of it looks sort of messy. It's not very sharp. And the elegance disappears somewhere. I like it somehow, but it's not a hit. Not in my book. It's okay.

This was really unexpected.
For my taste, there's more stuff here that I like, than in the previous collections.

Going to echo most everyone's sentiments here.

There are some truly beautiful looking pieces and a couple of fits I really like, but for the most part, this is very different from typical Lanvin. As Heirloom said, there was a lack of focus, which added to the eccentricity of this collection.

Oh, and I really didn't like the footwear...

i severely dislike the zip off sleeves. They are such a hassle and never look/feel right IMHO

This show was absolutely incredible, maybe the best show of the season. I will explain more in my review.

I really like this, not my favourite of the season but close and definately the most surprising.
I disagree with TarHeart about the elegance dissapearing, I think there is alot here for the elegant gentleman to wear. I do however agree with the notion that it seems unfocused, there seems to be a ramdomness to the later looks but I guess they need to have some elements for the tradional Lanvin gentleman

I particularly like the above look and especially the belt. I feel some of the looks are a little too feminine as to border on womenswear, but thats not to say i dislike them, i really like the sloped off shoulder knitwear jumper even though it would get as much use from my gitrlfriend as me.

All in all this is one of the highlights of the season, probably in my top 5.
