    Thanks, Casius.

Dries in Milan? Hmmm... I wonder if it's because Pitti is honoring him in some way. Ann Dem at Sorbonne, I smell another "young romantic poets" collection...

He's actually moving the menswear show to Milan, Faust...good business decision, I suppose.

        JUNE 25, 11:30AM - MARK YOU CALENDARS [:P]

Hopefully I forget about this stuff in a few weeks, I rather enjoy being pleasantly surprised by show pics.

^ Commercially, Milan is where it's at for Menswear, no? From what I gather, there will be a lot more buyers there....

I think it's a smart move, personally--plus it will make Milano a bit more exciting. [:P]

Maybe there are more buyers in total there, but I think it has more to do with the kind of stores you want to sell to. Obviously, not all stores send buyers to both Milan and Paris...

There are definitely many more labels showing there. It will definitely make Milan more exciting.

How is the access limited in these shows generally? If you know the location and the time, can one slip in (if dressed all snazzy like you belong there?)?

The Ann show would be amazing to see in person!

And the reason you won't see Dior Homme is...

                      Dior Homme Runway on Hiatus

Kris Van Assche to host Paris presentation

                      Friday, June 01, 2007

                      (PARIS)
Karl Lagerfeld, Mick Jagger, L?Wren Scott, and David Furnish will have
to seek alternative methods of excitement later this month during Paris
men?s fashion week. Dior Homme was not listed in the Chambre
Syndicale?s official show calendar and a Dior spokesperson confirmed
Thursday that there will be no Dior Homme runway show this season.
Instead, Kris Van Assche, who succeeded Hedi Slimane as head designer
in April, will host an intimate presentation of his spring/summer
collection on Sunday, July 1. The time and venue have not yet been
                      confirmed.

It depends on the show. I heard that Raf Simons has a policy of letting people that don't have invitations in if there is still room before the show... I don't know how true it is though, but that's what my friends told me after they got in.
