I must say I rather like this. The second look is my favorite but there's a lot of other nice coats and the dark plaid is cool, especially under that loose knit long sweater. Half of it feels like winter though, no?

I like the checked shirts too. The presentation is much less kitsch than her recent mens' shows. It's quite Stephan Schneider-like in some respects.... this shirt for example:

I like the simple casual look, but some of it seems a bit too simple, or expected. This opinion really hinges on the quality of the manufacture, is it very good? I've never touched/seen VB in person.

macuser, it is actually AMAZING. It blows the rest of the Belgians out of the water, and that's saying a lot. The finishing of the seams, the construction of the details...I go into raptures just thinking about it. [U]

Veronique's pieces are really worth the investment, because you will have and wear them for a minimum of 10 years.

Awesome to hear that, you never know with the more subdued stuff, if that makes sense... There are a bunch of things on LVR that I'm looking at, so I am pretty tempted after your recommendation. I treat my clothes really well, so it's nice to be rewarded with long-lasting goods. Thanks. [:)]

You're welcome. The stuff on lvr is really good, looking forward to seeing any purchases! One thing I meant to add is that Faust has mentioned having fit issues with VB menswear before. I'm not sure what these are, but you may want to get a little extra info on measurements, etc. before ordering. [51]
