she's done a similar sandal with a front strap for womens ( genevieveryoko was selling in the classified recently i think) agreed, especially for men, a strap would be better suited then the 'cock ring' (lol) it appears the back piece is removable also (not attached along the bottom) which is cool though not sure if it would feel weird when installed if its not very secure, maybe wouldnt feel a difference.

I thought I took more photos, hmmm. Anyway, here is my favorite coat.
actually i quite like it being just the way it is with the "cock ring"
it makes it different from just another pair of sandals!

I showed the collection to my girlfriend, who similarly loves Ann D, and she said immediately that she thought the collection was influenced by the garb of Hassidic Jews. The wide-brimmed hats, a little, but more specifically, the tassels on the scarves hanging down are reminiscent of the tallit--the Jewish prayer shawl. Of course, hats and scarves are not uncommon in an Ann show, but they are styled rather specifically. Plus, coupling this imagery with the desert-like foreground (referenced in the review that David S posted) the Hebrew reference seems to hold more weight.
Could be totally off base, but just a thought...

/\ Totally off base, but an interesting interpretation nonetheless!

I was eavesdropping on Tim Blanks interviewing Ann after the show, so I can confirm this to be true.

Beautiful collection, but yes those rolled sleeves are quite bad,
actually rolled/pushed up sleeves on a jacket in any outfit I have
always found a bit silly ...

            Fragile sturdiness indeed.
Are you afraid of women, Doctor?
            Of course.

I'm never a fan of Ann but the bracelets would be exceptional.
