From what I've seen so far it feels like a mash up of a few past collections.

I looked at it on NF in the wrong order, ie. backwards and wasn't a fan at all. But it gets better (or worse if you look at it in sequence) Love the colour, silver boots - not so sure.Hi. I like your necklace. - It's actually a rape whistle, but the whistle part fell off.

meh, not too excited about the draw strings or the puffy shapes. I might love it in store, but visually this is too much like earlier collections. first womens collection i don't feel like there's anything to digest. it was lacking in actual shape, except for those horrid diffuse looking balloon jackets.
the first impression of alot of this looks like a central st martins students take on his style, with the low sleeveholes and the shortsleeved leather garments...
it's like a sporty nurse.

There seems to be a lot of Junya Watanabe AW'11 going on, but in cotton/wool version. Personally I'm not going bananas over the clothes but the boots are simply divine. That milk white is perfect while the chocolate looks delicious enough to eat.Originally posted by PatroklusBetter too adventurous than not enough

anyway, just had a quick look-thru, but if i was a chick i'd be pretty happy with the wide variety of top-wear...
i guess i'm looking for flaws, but i'm a bit disappointed I wasn't thrown off like I was with womens ss09 or ss11 and mens aw10. the references I see don't feel as exotic as before haha.
edit: ok, i admit it. I'm pissed because the pleated volume on the forarms of some jackets is something i've been drawing on for a while. It's embarrasing to see how much i'm copying someone elses style sometimes. hah.
