The first 6 looks as a set I really like. It's nice to see such an odd but super-focused exploration of something - here I suppose being the morphology of a single pattern over a variety of forms (the hats being especially good).

I see all of this and I wonder why Kanye generated so much conversation.
I think this shit is da' bomb, it pushes the boundaries of of what is recognizably Kenzo, but still is Kenzo... if that makes sense, if I was doing my advertising speak I would say it's "on brand".
I do see the influence of Opening Ceremony, but more from back in the day when they first opened and more adventurous. It's absolutely Hedious!

qwerty, how old are you? i don't see the 'fright' or the apparent lack of wearability whatsoever, so i'm curious.
maybe they'd be better off at a house more in line with their playful aesthetic, but i'm pretty sure that this, in conjuction with the lowered pricepoints will appeal to an entirely different market. and that was probably the point all along, since kenzo may have lost its appeal somewhere down the line. i wouldn't know, i was never a fan. but you just happened to post a collection from three years ago, so...
