qazwsx - what I like about Rigards is that they are handcrafted from Horn and seem very well made. That said - have you checked out Hakusan frames - saw them on HLorenzo as well? They may be another option for you to consider.

Has anyone handled these frames? I noticed that they are stocked at H Lorenzon and L'eclaireur.

I own RG 0008 in black sanjuro. They are very well made. The only thing that might disappoint someone is default case. I'm also going to purchase RG 0028.

Wear shades whenever I'm out and being without them, makes me feel naked. I have a pair of Effectors 'Big Tramp' to clothe my eyes. Not seen them mentioned on this thread but they're hand-made in Japan and are composed of celluloid (really hefty stuff!).live for conflict / die for heaven

and the ugly branding on the shaft of the temple. it really ruins the crafted appearance of the frames.

Originally posted by rudo View PostEh, I was okay with the branding, but for me most if not all of Rigards are too thick for everyday glasses. It's probably okay for sunglasses, but for glasses, it becomes the glass wearing you, not the other way around. I had to return.
