i had two of the Jil Sander AW08 marble print bags (carry-all style, tote style), but have since sold them both for about 5 bills each

i thought they were great, and being nylon i didn't worry as much about throwing it around and scuffing it up. they were good for everyday use holding this and that and shopping,
but when i spend many waking hours at school, a 6 pound widescreen laptop doesn't exactly play nicely with it

i still kinda miss them though :( also have a raf/eastpak wool messenger which i use but it's a tad small

i've been looking for a large messenger/tote, don't care if it's shoulder-slung or hand-held. but i'm pretty averse to it being leather, which kinda limits options

I'm seriously considering exchaning my blue Guidi Bag for this. Mainly because of the strap. Does it have a zipper?

no zipper, no compartments, and to be honest its very flimsy. I bought one but returned it after realizing its not very usable.

I have that Guidi bag, strapless version. The leather's really soft but not thin. Actually it's the flimsy-ness and utter simplicity (no compartments) of the bag that appeals to me

Got it as well and I use it everyday, the one in the picture.. The lack of zippers and compartments doesn't bother me at all, but the length of the strap does. I would also have preferred if it was a little more squarish and if there hadn't been a bottom plate. But still, I find it very usable.
