I can understand expensive bags for women as they carry them everywhere and every day. But I haven't been able to buy a designer bag for myself despite having liked a handful. (I agree, some of the Jil Sander bags are excellent!)

Generally I whole heartedly agree with the puffy jacket sentiment, but I do find that there are a few in the Moncler Gamme Rouge collection that I really like. http://www.moncler.it/en/collection/GAMMEROUGE/ai0708/default.content

In Boston,

I would say 99.95% of the offenders attend/have attended Boston University.

Living by there made me want to really kill myself.

Historically, Uggs were typically mens shoes. They were used by surfers in australia first, I believe, and then diffused to other surfing hotspots in the world. Eventually, it reached Southern California, and then Los Angeles. I believe at this point they realized they could market them as fashion items and created the "Uggs" brand and it just goes from there.

That's my understanding of how it went, anyway.

Haha, for some reason... it seems to be a predominant issue in Boston. Not so much in NYC, Philly... or my alma mater in Rochester.... but really bad around BU, Northeastern....
