I've tried on both boots and I like the details and the shape of N(N) more! Ditto to Faust's comment...it seems like RO does a similar boot every season!

You can find those boots all over Y! auctions but it wont really matter if you can find your size for 40% off here in the US.

I'm torn about these Ervell linen pants. I'm thinking of calling Opening Ceremony tomorrow when their sale starts to get them but I need another opinion. I've always loved tweed, hounds tooth, prince of wales stuff (my dandy englishman taste) and I think it's cool that these are linen. Only thing is, I can only buy one more thing this season and I could use another pair of shorts, but I figure since these are linen they could substitute.

/\..and what great shorts they would make. Probably wouldn't even need to cut them. They look a bit weighty, but linen is like a screen door. I'm not the biggest fan of houndstooth, but seeing as you are partial...I say go for it. [Y]

yes or no, putting things on layaway... i went to vancouver last weekend and everyone was all up on that layaway, offering it to me on robert geller jackets etc... is it safe, what's the deal? i've never really understood it, i assume you make payments every couple weeks until you pay it off?

yes yes yes, i have it and it's really great. the only hesitation i have is that it doesn't look as good zipped as it does unzipped, but i highly recommend it.

Depends. Personally, I'd say no. The main attraction of Berlutis is the unique colors/patinas, so I feel that black ones are kinda pointless (speaking from experience, I got a pair of black Berluti Club wholecuts too). But if you really like the shape, go for it.

I'm typically not a fan of Berluti (most of the time they look too "artisan costumey" to me); but, I agree that if you are going to get them don't get something so "basic".
