mmmh, that would be a yay to me, but only if you can try them on : the cut seems up to MMM standards, but that kind of loose fit can be quite disappointing once worn by the wrong person...

can't try on, but they are returnable and fully refundable. I agree that it can be hard to tell what they'd look like on, but that's more of less always a problem when buying clothes online. Minor problems is that there are no full measurements available...

The double layered high sneaker is much cooler. The other shoe just always seemed to basic to me, not to mention the fact I don't like low top sneakers.

Definitely the highs raw edge, the leather is delectable they're actually quite versatile.

If you don't lace them up to the very last catch just as in the pictures you posted, you can do a decent boot tuck. You can also have the high 'sock' and the tongue folded down and wear it just like a regular hi-top sneaker. More importantly, it's just so comfortable.

agreed - i have regular ann d high tops and the version shown below with the 'sock' (in all black).

i haven't worn the regular high tops since purchasing the sock version.

as a bonus - they're very warm.
