I actually tried size L on the other day (they were selling it for 650 euro ) and it fit me pretty great (although I usually wear XS….)

What I basically wanted to ask if you find it a bit over the top/theatrical.

How does this thing button up? Is there an underlapping gusset?

^ He's not asking about the physical fit, he's asking about if it looks too big.

You kind of need a whole body shot to see if the shoes are too big looking for you. And with your recent waywt...yes I think the shoes are definitely too large for your body size. In my opinion anyway. Especially in the second picture.

Ok, wow, those look clowny as fuck. Maybe if you wore your pants over the boots it would give the impression of a smaller boot, the top flare out creates a bottom heavy silhouette.

I have to agree with cjbreed about the boots, but I actually like oversized-looking shoes a lot, especially boots. Pair with a long Ann coat and be the coolest looking person in the world.

i dunno man he kinda looks like a little boy wearing his dads work boots. also he looks like he might be pretty young looking which would make it worse.

I hear you man. I'm probably just used to looking at larger shoes, as a size 12 myself. I'm 6'1 though....

But I really think the angle at which he's standing coupled with the darkness of the pants/boots makes it difficult to differentiate each individual shoe, thus making the boots appear larger than they probably are.

cropped denim? cropped trousers, i can kind of get with. cropped denim does all the wrong things for me (treading dangerously close to jean shorts).

I really like it on this pic, but not so much on the darklands site.

This would be my first ma+ clothing, so i would appreciate it, if maybe some of you could say something about the fit (sizing).

And furthermore:
Any hints of what other stores except darklands (and shelter) got it?

i heard it fits on the small side. also a little different from typical ma+ in that the forearms are pretty slim. armholes still high and tight. i like it but so far my size is nowhere to be found.

also looks like the bicep area fits loose which is kinda hidden in that pic^^
