    i don't see any problems. they are an older model so they've had some wear, but they seem to be in good shape and even still have the hardware. at that price if you are in need of cool black boots you can't really go wrong with these methinks....

      (the jacket) surely is a great pice from ann, but im not sure i would wear silk as often as i can wear coton/wool.
      oh and i'd need new boots to pair with a dropcrotch, which means another long quest..

      what do you silk owner think about the material wearability ?

        Thx. Ordered them, I'll see! And I think I'll experiment with a lil'bit of machine washing at the same time. With a second-hand pair, this seems like a good opportunity!

                              Silk is pretty cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It's a really good textile, the only real drawback is that it can easily be damaged when wet. You can generally safely handwash it though.

                              I'll agree that the GP pants are probably overpriced for what looks like just flared trousers - not a lot of design quotient there.
