No pics but should I get the

Guidi 992 derbs or CCP horse cordovan derbs?

Kinda torn between them and I def can't afford both. Guidi seems more universal/ versatile but maybe lacking in character as compared to the CCP.

Wondering which would look better with a cropped pant as well

Anyone who has both can comment on them? Also on the quality aspect - the difference.

Hopefully this will not be a case of comparing an apple & orange..

CCP cordovan is better for a slim guy. depends on your figure.

Too big? Shoulders are a bit off, but the body fits nicely.

^ I find the sleeves alittle too long/too much stacking. Makes it look alittle 'baggy'.

How does it fit around the waist/torso?

Waist fits snug and the torso fits nicely...I like the long sleeves...I'm just concerned that the shoulders are off. It is a "sport" jacket though, so having a bit of room left over is okay I guess.

I agree about the shoulders, but if it fits you well in the body it means that your proportions are a bit different than the jacket's. The tight chest and waist make up for it imho.

Also, if you know you're keeping it I'd recommend shortening the sleeves an inch or two.

I was under the impression that all Rick outerwear had extra-long sleeves. You know, as part of the whole RO 'look'.

I thought so too...anyway, I'm happy with the sleeves...I just want to know if the shoulders look ridiculous.

Well, in all but a few cases, Rick sleeves fit me normally (with no more than 1/2 inch extra) and I honestly think it looks better.

It works okay on a plain sleeve that falls past your wrist and melts your arms but the knit cuff prevents that and makes the look a little sloppy.

clothing doesn't fit off the rack and not fitting properly is not avant garde. I'm going to buy a Rick leather and turn it into a frilly leather ball sling with a cutout for my asshole because I want to see you angry.

I think the fit is fine especially if you might want to layer. BUT, if you have the option to get a size smaller I might go for it as a smaller size might stretch out after a little bit and give a better overall fits-like-a-glove look.

agree with casem83, whenever I buy leathers I always try to buy the smallest size I can fit in to..... Most of them tend to stretch a bit after some time.
