Wore my dropcrotch (basket swinger shorts) to work today and raised some eyebrows. But also wore sandals in an office environment, but with 25 degrees celsius work environment my boss should not be the one to complain.

I never buy clothes anymore because all of my money goes into bikes these days, but these are cheap and I've been looking for something like them to wear a couple of my long Ann shirts with. Material looks like wool/linen blend.

TheRealReal drives me fucking nuts with their terrible mannequins and and styling. They somehow manage to make everything they sell look awkward at best and frumpy at worst. Because of that it's hard for me to make judgment calls unless I know what the piece looks like in another setting.

But my suggestion would be to go for it, pair it with some existing items in your closet, and if you're in love with it to keep it. At least they offer returns.

Yes to pants if the total length works with your body. Too bad they don't list the outseam or rise. Cropped pants can be really finicky. Odd that they say the fabric content is not listed, though. Maybe someone cut the tag off and that's why they're so cheap?

I'm always surprised by this as well, easily one of my favorite pieces of his. There's a cheap brand new pair on Grailed right now but I still can't justify dropping $700

Depending on leather and color, I say yes. Staple piece and versatile durable multi purpose shoes.

And yes, cargo's are good alternative considering your length

Most Rick heads seem to favor drop crotches, and I don't think that leaves enough space for the cargobaskets to really shine.

Cargobaskets are either ugly or people I 've seen wearing them don't do them justice. I have come to the conclusion that they distort the body's proportion a lot. Geobaskets are great but overplayed. The huge tongue and the bulky shape though don't flatter all people. I would go with Ramones which is the best sneaker for me or combat boots as Shucks proposed.

Going to echo the Ramones advice. I've had Geobaskets, Ramones, Cargobaskets... the Ramones were the pair that got the most use.
